University Leased Apartments

Okayama University also has university leased apartments that the university rents out to international students with furniture and appliances necessary for daily life. The university makes a lease contract with the landlords of the private apartments and covers the initial cost.

Residence Allocation

Among those who come to Japan from overseas to study, upon application from their faculty or graduate school, rooms in the dormitories for international students will be allocated in order of priority based on the university’s criteria. You will be informed by email from the International Affairs Department at least one month before the enrollment day whether or not you have been allocated a room in a university leased apartment.

There is a bed in each room, but no bedding. If you wish to purchase a Bedding-set (futon mattress, futon top cover, blanket, pillow, and sheets), please apply through the website below. Applications must be made at least 20 days prior to the scheduled move-in date; applications made less than 20 days prior will not be accepted.
