Housing
Dormitories for International Students
Okayama University has four domitories for international students. Among those who come to Japan from overseas to study, rooms in the dormitories for international students will be allocated in order of priority based on the university’s criteria. No application is necessary. It is not possible to make a request for a room in any particular dormitory. You will be informed by email from the International Affairs Department at least one month before the enrollment day whether or not you have been allocated a room in a dormitory. No change of dormitories or rooms will be allowed after you have moved in.

Private Apartments
If you were not allocated a room in a dormitory for international students, please find a private apartment by yourself. The average monthly rent for private apartments with standard facilities and size around the university is about 25,000 yen to 40,000 yen.
