Why Did I Apply? 

The reason why I applied was because as an international student, I fully understand the difficulties of studying abroad alone, and thinking of the various difficulties and anxieties, I thought it was my turn to help international students, just like the RAs who helped me when I was living in the dormitory before. Since I was expected to graduate in September 2023, I thought I could put a good end to my student life if I could help everyone by becoming an RA in my last six months.

What I Learned and Experienced as an RA 

Working as an RA has first of all improved my communication skills. Since there are international students from different countries in the dormitory, I was able to talk with everyone a lot and become more cheerful. At the same time, I was able to improve my foreign language skills, which I think I can use in my future studies and work. Also, as an RA, I held various events (such as orientation for entering and leaving the dormitory, welcome party, movie night, etc.). I have a stronger sense of responsibility now that I have done various events. The people in the International Affairs Department and the dormitory managers were kind and always helpful if I had any questions. Thanks to them, I was able to get used to RA work in a short time. This experience has improved my communication skills, sense of responsibility, and ability to overcome difficulties all more than I had before. If something similar happens in the future, I think I will be able to handle it with ease.
