Campus Life Orientation
The International Affairs Department holds a “Campus Life Orientation” for new international students enrolling in April and October to explain things like immigration-related matters, safety and crime prevention, health management, student life, and daily life.
*All new students* are required to attend this orientation. This includes those who have entered Okayama University from other universities in Japan.

Checklist - If you have not yet received the orientation bag (white nylon bag with CO-OP Insurance brochure, map,etc), please come to the international Office to pick it up.

City Office Procedures
International Affairs Department distributes a set of documents for City Office procedures (registration of address, subscription to the National Health Insurance system, etc.).
New international students who will stay in Japan for more than 3 months (those who have been issued a residence card) come to the International Affairs Department as soon as they arrive at Okayama University.
Please note that you may not be able to complete the procedures if you go directly to City Office.

Registration of Okayama University Residence Registration System(ORRS)
In accordance with the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act, Okayama University requires all international students to report the following items through ORRS in order to properly manage the status of residence and their compliance with activities other than those permitted under the current status of residence (part-time work).
New registration must be completed within 14 days of the start of acceptance.
